Q: What is file hosting?
A: file hosting is a service that allows you to host any type of file. The are several key differences between shared hosting and file hosting:

• Loads more space!
• Loads more bandwidth!
• Lower cost!
• Less hassle!

Because this is file hosting, we remove scripting and email. Removing these features allows us to offer greater amounts of space and bandwidth on these accounts with the same high level of support for a lower cost.

Q: What can I use this hosting for?
A: Anything you like that's within our terms of service. The only thing you can't do with this service is run PHP/CGI scripts. The service could be used for backups, hosting file downloads for your website etc.

Q: Can I use one of these packages along with my Shared hosting account?
A: Yes, of course. This would be ideal if you have large data and bandwidth requirements (for example, for a photo gallery or download site!).

Q: There is no control panel, How do I access and control the service?
A: When you signup an account we will create an FTP account for you which will allow you access to the space. You will have a choice of using a subdomain (e.g yourname.ashst.com ) or your own domain name (which you can purchase from us if you don't have one already) to access this storage space.

Q: How do I monitor space and bandwidth usage?
A: We will provide a script that will monitor this for you.
